Experienced Occupational Hygienist.
Kent.
Up to £30,000 per year (DOE) + Company vehicle.
DKF is seeking an Experienced Occupational Hygienist to become part of one of our independent occupational hygiene consultancy clients located in Kent. Established in 2002, our client is a reputable consultancy that prioritises quality and provides a comprehensive range of services to several prominent clients across various sectors.
The position is primarily site-based, necessitating considerable travel across the UK, from the client’s headquarters based in the South East. Additionally, flexibility is essential to manage occasional weekend and after-hours work commitments.
What your core responsibilities would be:
· Performing site assessments and monitoring sites.
· Reporting the findings plus including drawings.
· Meeting client deadlines by given date.
· Liaising with clients and other parties involved.
· Support in the training of additional occupational hygienists.
· General tasks necessary to assist the department.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
· You should be working towards or have achieved the BOHS Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Enhanced DBS check (will be completed through induction stage if successful).
· Previous experience working as a lead occupational hygienist.
· Proficient in analysing technical data and producing high-quality technical reports.
· Effective time management skills, along with punctuality and reliability, are essential for meeting client deadlines.
· Able to communicate effectively with clients verbally and via email/in writing.
· Ensure that you conduct yourself in a professional and friendly manner and able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a readiness to assist the team.
